Chapter 54 - the night break-in
At midnight, Caroline's elite special task force, led by Thomas, approached the isolated villa under the pouring rain. They wore head-to-toe black, moving with the silence and terrifying speed of true ghosts.
The security fence was quickly disabled by a military-grade jamming device. Thomas skillfully took down two outer perimeter guards with takedown strikes precise to the millimeter, letting not a single sound escape.
Inside the dark villa, Thomas found the safe cleverly hidden behind an oak wall. With master lock-picking skills honed from years of solving underground cases, he popped open the solid steel door in just three minutes.
Inside was a hard drive containing all the corruption files, bribery lists, and shady contracts of Senator Vance with underground forces. A blood-stained treasure with the power to immediately destroy his career.
