Chapter 38 - the spreading light

Successfully dismantling the Blackwood Corporation not only eliminated a major threat but also elevated the reputation of the Caroline Foundation to a new height. The whole world admired the extraordinary resilience and bravery of the female chairwoman.
The following spring, Caroline stood on the podium of glory at the United Nations headquarters. She was honored for her immense contributions in fighting human trafficking and protecting the rights of abused children.
In the audience seats below, her elderly father smiled with fulfillment, tears of happiness rolling down his wrinkled cheeks. He was proud of the daughter who had conquered death to build an immortal empire of justice.
"Power does not come from how much money we have, but from how we use it to protect vulnerable lives," Caroline declared resoundingly, her eyes glowing with intense faith and hope.
Thunderous applause echoed throughout the massive hall. The agonizing pain from the past, from the bruise on her neck to the betrayal of her sister, had now transformed into a priceless source of strength to save tens of thousands of lives.
