Before the corrupt directors could even attempt to construct a pathetic lie or fabricate a defense, Thomas reached into his pocket and dialed a direct, pre-programmed code on his encrypted phone.
Within sixty seconds, the heavy glass doors of the boardroom were forcefully breached. A squad of federal white-collar crime investigators marched into the executive suite, holding federal warrants for grand wire fraud, corporate conspiracy, and attempted murder.
The three senior directors didn't even attempt to run. They sat frozen in their high-backed leather chairs as the heavy steel handcuffs were snapped ruthlessly around their wrists.
As the disgraced executives were hauled out of the executive suite in total, crushing humiliation, Caroline stood tall at the head of the conference table, her presence commanding absolute, unquestionable respect.
The multi-billion-dollar empire was finally purged of its internal parasites. Every single traitor, conspirator, and corrupt associate had been systematically dragged out into the harsh light of justice.
