Chapter 34 - Opening a new horizon

November arrives, bringing with it a cool yet crisp atmosphere. In the bustling arts district at the heart of the city, Sarah's creative design studio, Horizon Studio, which also serves as a herbal tea space, officially opens its doors—a new horizon far beyond the shadows of Lilac Street.
Inside the exquisitely designed space, featuring warm cream tones, natural wood, and soft yellow lighting, dozens of distinguished guests, publishing partners, architecture magazine editors, and true friends who have stood by Sarah's side are chatting animatedly.
In the center of the banquet table, alongside trays of exquisite French pastries and fresh flowers, Sarah placed a beautifully crafted, clear crystal vase. Inside was a mixture of golden lemon juice with fresh mint leaves and square ice cubes, sparkling under the chandelier.
Attorney Marcus Vance walked over to Sarah, a glass of cool lemonade in his hand. He changed at the crystal carafe on the table and smiled knowingly.
"That's a very thoughtful drink choice, Sarah," Marcus said playfully.
Sarah picked up her glass and gently clinked it against the esteemed lawyer's. The sound of the crystal glasses touching echoed clearly.
"Back then, the weight of a pitcher of lemonade and ice was what brought down my old world," Sarah smiled, her eyes sparkling with pride. "But today, I want to remind myself that when life throws the sourest lemons and the sharpest shards of glass at you, you have every right to clean up the mess, buy yourself a new crystal pitcher, and make a pitcher of lemonade a thousand times sweeter."
Chloe entered through the front door, timidly carrying a large bouquet of sunflowers. This was after she had prepared in court and submitted the original video footage. Her cousin moved out of her parents' house, started working part-time to pay for her tuition, and began learning to live honestly on her own two feet.

Sarah saw Chloe and nodded slightly, accepting the bouquet. Although they would never be completely close, Sarah had chosen to let go of her resentment in order to keep her soul at peace.
As the soothing jazz music filled the room, Sarah stepped onto the small wooden platform in the center of the studio. All the guests turned their admiring gazes toward the young woman—no longer the victim who had stood with her head bowed amid the judgmental crowd years ago, but rather the creator of her own vibrant artistic space.
